Black Garlic Macaron

The creative menu in this restaurant will surprise your taste buds! This is one of my favourites in this restaurant, the savoury macaron, Black Garlic, Brook Trout Roe Macaron. Another one of my favourite is SCARLET PRAWN (see below for photos), the prawn taste taste so strong and I just couldn’t forget that fragrance that linger in my mouth until today! You got to experience this lovely fine dine with your own tastebuds and I’m sure your stomach will thank you later!

Royal Arcade

Royal Arcade, the oldest surviving arcade in Australia since 1870. The elegant light-filled interior, and the large carved mythic figures of Gog and Magog, flanking Gaunt's clock are the signature of Royal Arcade. Make sure you lift your heads up when you enter Royal Arcade and enjoy the beautiful interior design. (Wikipedia, 2018) It is a tourist icon of Melbourne and you may enjoy the interior and atmosphere with a cup of hot chocolate from Koko Black in the arcade.

Scopri Carlton

The best truffle risotto I've had so far in Melbourne. I still miss that generous amount of truffle on risotto, impressively rich in delicate flavours. Before serving risotto, they placed a big BLACK TRUFFLE on the table so we can take some photos. Soon later when they served risotto, they'll shaved the truffle on top, I get really excited when the truffle falls on the risotto! Give it a try if you haven't, you'll love it.

SKIP! THIS IS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! I knowwwwwww. That was what my partner said to me when I first suggested this restaurant to him, but we gave it a try as we want to be in a good restaurant to celebrate some special occasion. Guess what? After we dine in Kisumé for the first time, the next afternoon we were looking to book for our next visit! LOLLL! READ MORE to find out why.

HIGH QUALITY, LOCAL INGREDIENT, HANDLE EVERYTHING WITH LOVE AND CARE! YES! How do you handle food with love and care? What do you mean by that? Okay, apart from the expensive and 'luxury' food that I show in the below, I think there is a very beautiful story here that I must tell:

Salmon Roe. According to master chef k.s. moon, he says that when he was in Japan, he was taught to kill salmon in order to get salmon roe out from the ovaries. But it's totally different in Australia! Australian love their nature more than anything and they try their best not to take too much from the nature. And so, instead of killing salmon to get roe, Master Chef K.S. Moon was taught to milked from the trout and then return them to their pool so they can live on happily! I am so touched with this story and it has stuck in my head since then.

I am gonna keep this short and simple. Highly recommend my guests to WALK instead of taking tram to Breizoz French Creperie. It's not so near but it isn't far! It will be around 20 mins walk BUT it feels like only 10 mins walk because you get to enjoy to see hipster streets, houses and shops along the way! You will also pass by Carlton Garden which is one of the famous spot for tourist and also WEDDING PHOTOS! You will get the chance to see the beautiful blooming during Spring! 

Breizoz has different category of crepe; savoury, sweet and alcohol crepe! Ask for extra crispy if you love the crunchiness in your mouth.

The price start from $6 - $14? Give it a try, this is really something that will amaze you!

Humble Rays

Enjoy the brunch at Humble Rays. Queue for around half an hour, highly recommend to go there around 10am rather than 12pm to avoid the queue.
 

Houjicha Latte, Crab Meat Scramble and Egg Benny. Love everything here but the croissant is a little too soggy. Overall it's a good experience!

Son In Law

Son In Law serves really good Thai food and I can't stop smiling when they serve me this cute Fairy Floss Milk! My Heart literally melted!

Try the fried chicken, and I personally like the Basil with Pork Belly and steamed Barramundi. It's authentic Thai Cuisine that I ever had in Melbourne rather than fusion. Really love Son In Law and definitely going back to visit again! <3

Grab your favourite drinks and enjoy with the food! I would recommend their duck & prawn spring rolls, and pulled pork burger. Made using fresh prawns, the spring rolls are bound to satisfy your taste buds! The chips are soooooooo good that it really is worth all the fats and the pulled pork burger is so juicy and tender! The baguette is crispy on outside and soft inside! TRY IT!
